Through over eight years in higher education, Joaquin Romero has demonstrated an established track record in partner relationship management, project management, business development, and fundraising. He is currently a Fund Officer for the Rhode Island School of Design, where he connects prospects' values and aligns them with the institution. Previously, he designed community engagement programming through study-away programs at Brown University's Swearer Center and developed community as a Hall Director in Residence Life at Providence College. Joaquin's wide breadth of experience in institutional development, program management, and student support roles has honed his ability for strategic planning.

Joaquin holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics. His passion is to help organizations address social inequality through their work and to highlight community voices. He is a board member of the 134 Collaborative, where he works to bring organizations together to build a community collaborative for social good in the heart of downtown Providence, Rhode Island.
